The In-Sure® Push-In Wire Connector is perfect for residential, light commercial, lighting retrofit, and pre-fab wiring systems, or any other branch circuit wiring application where a traditional twist-on wire connector would be used. Simply push the wire in – the low insertion force makes it easy.

The color-coded shell allows for quick identification of port configuration while the clear polycarbonate housing allows for visual verification of every connection. The ergonomic design is easier to grip which means more comfortable push-in connections. The compact size makes for easy installations in even the tightest spots or shallow boxes, and the tough, flame-retardant shell stands up to the harshest environments.

Q: What is the pull-out force on push-in wire connectors?

A: The In-Sure® Push-In Wire Connectors are manufactured to exceed the following pull-out forces on solid or stranded gauge wire: 10 lbs. on 18 AWG, 15 lbs. on 16 AWG, 25 lbs. on 14 AWG, and 35 lbs. on 12 AWG

Q: What is the Amp rating for push-in wire connectors?

A: In-Sure® Push-In Wire Connectors Models 32, 33, and 34 are designed to work with 20 to 12 AWG sizes of building construction wire per the NEC Code. They are rated for a maximum of 20 Amps in most applications.

Model 39 is designed to work with 14 to 10 AWG wire sizes and are rated for a maximum of 30 Amps in most applications.

Q: What is the minimum temperature for push-in connectors?

A: To achieve UL/CSA rating, the In-Sure® Push-In Wire Connectors are tested and evaluated to 0°C for installation.

Q: Do all ports need to be used when using a push-in wire connector?

A: No, there is no requirement that all ports must be filled when using a push-in wire connector. Simply insert the wires into the needed ports to complete the connection.

 

Q: Are push-in connectors reusable?

A: In-Sure® Push-In Wire Connectors Models 32, 33, and 34 are reusable on solid wire only. DO NOT REUSE connector on stranded wire. Models 87, 88, and 90 are not reusable.
